Santa’s Arrival Brings Holiday Cheer to Loehmann’s Plaza
Festive family event includes free activities, holiday fun, and carriage rides to benefit the SSPCA
SACRAMENTO, Calif., November 3, 2025: The holiday season officially kicks off at Loehmann’s Plaza on Saturday, December 6, from 1 PM to 3 PM, as Santa Claus makes his grand arrival for an afternoon of family-friendly festivities and holiday cheer.
Families are invited to celebrate with a variety of free holiday activities, including photos with Santa, special character appearances, holiday slime making, face painting, and balloon twisting.
Adding to the excitement, guests can enjoy Holiday Horse & Carriage Rides for just $5 per person, with all proceeds benefiting the Sacramento SPCA (SSPCA). Tickets for carriage rides are required and will be available online prior to the event. Click here to purchase tickets.

All other activities are open to the public at no cost. No tickets are required. Visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras for Santa photos and arrive early to take part in all the holiday fun. The event will take place, rain or shine.
